This study is testing a new magnetic device called Flexagon that helps surgeons reconnect parts of the colon after removing diseased sections. The goal is to see if it is safe and works well for people with colorectal cancer or diverticular disease. About 20 adults having colon surgery will be enrolled, and success is measured by whether the connection heals without needing another operation within 30 days.
