A one-page form might boost colon cancer screening completion
NCT ID NCT07183046
First seen Jun 26, 2026 · Last updated Jul 24, 2026 · Updated 2 times
Summary
This study tests whether giving people a one-page planning guide along with their at-home colorectal cancer screening kit (FIT) helps them actually complete and return the test. About 1,600 adults aged 45-75 from primary care clinics will be randomly assigned to receive either the standard FIT kit or the kit plus the planning guide. The guide asks people to write down when and where they will do the test and how they will return it. Researchers will compare completion rates, lab sample rejection rates, and how quickly samples are returned.
