Summary
This pilot study tests whether fisetin, a natural compound found in strawberries, can reduce aging cells and improve walking ability in 34 people aged 50+ with peripheral artery disease (PAD). Participants will receive either fisetin or a placebo for 4 months. The main goal is to see if fisetin helps them walk farther in 6 minutes, with secondary checks on grip strength and physical performance.
