First seen Jan 05, 2026 · Last updated Jun 14, 2026 · Updated 27 times
Summary
This study tests whether serving food in easy-to-grip, bite-sized pieces (finger foods) helps elderly residents in care homes eat more, gain weight, and feel more independent. About 30 people over 75 who are undernourished or losing weight will take part. Researchers will check if this approach is practical and improves food intake and enjoyment.
