Summary
This study tested a new drug called finerenone in 55 adults with primary aldosteronism, a condition where the body makes too much of a hormone that raises blood pressure. The goal was to see if finerenone can safely lower blood pressure over 12 weeks. Researchers measured how much blood pressure dropped and looked for side effects.
