Race against time: new study seeks faster sepsis detection in ER
NCT ID NCT06178822
Summary
This study aims to find new biological markers in the blood to help doctors diagnose sepsis more quickly and accurately in emergency room patients. Researchers will compare the immune responses of 3,300 adults who come to the ER with suspected infections, tracking who develops sepsis and their long-term recovery. The goal is to improve early detection of this life-threatening condition.
