New hope for fibromyalgia pain: could two drugs beat one?

NCT ID NCT07171320

Summary

This study is testing whether combining two prescription pain medications (pregabalin and desvenlafaxine) works better than using pregabalin alone for people with fibromyalgia. Researchers want to see if the combination provides stronger pain relief without causing significantly more side effects. The trial will involve 384 adults with moderate to severe fibromyalgia pain who haven't found enough relief from non-drug treatments.
