New hope for fibromyalgia? study tests Two-Drug combo for better pain relief
NCT ID NCT07230197
Summary
This study is testing whether adding a drug called dexmedetomidine to the standard fibromyalgia medication pregabalin works better for pain relief than pregabalin alone. It will involve 400 adults with moderate to severe fibromyalgia whose pain hasn't been helped enough by non-drug treatments. The main goal is to see if the combination reduces daily pain more effectively without causing significantly more side effects.
