New drug combo trial aims to ease widespread fibromyalgia pain
NCT ID NCT07382921
Summary
This study aims to see if adding the muscle relaxant tizanidine to the standard drug pregabalin works better for reducing fibromyalgia pain than pregabalin alone. It will involve 164 adults with fibromyalgia who experience daily pain. Participants will be randomly assigned to one of the two treatment groups and their pain levels will be tracked for 12 weeks.
