New hope for fibromyalgia pain? study tests alternative to common medication
NCT ID NCT07157852
Summary
This study compares two medications for treating fibromyalgia, a chronic condition causing widespread pain and fatigue. Researchers want to see if a newer drug called mirogabalin works better or has fewer side effects than the commonly used pregabalin. The trial involves 674 adults with moderate to severe fibromyalgia who haven't responded well to non-drug treatments.
