Summary
This study tested whether problems with brain cells that control movement cause fatigue in fibromyalgia. Researchers compared 37 women (some with fibromyalgia, some healthy) by measuring muscle signals during foot exercises, including when they were cheered on. The goal was to see if cheering affects these signals differently in fibromyalgia patients, which could point to a brain-based cause of fatigue.
