First seen Jan 16, 2026 · Last updated May 15, 2026 · Updated 19 times
Summary
This study looked at 164 women with fibromyalgia and healthy controls to see if certain autoantibodies are linked to worse symptoms. Researchers measured pain, inflammation, and nerve changes in the skin and brain. The goal was to better understand the role of the immune system in fibromyalgia, not to test a treatment.
