First seen Mar 11, 2026 · Last updated May 23, 2026 · Updated 13 times
Summary
This study tested whether using a fibrin sealant (a surgical glue) along with the usual medication (TXA) during total knee replacement helps patients recover better. 78 adults with end-stage knee osteoarthritis took part. The main goal was to see if the sealant improved early outcomes like blood levels, knee movement, walking distance, and pain after surgery.
