First seen Apr 18, 2026 · Last updated May 14, 2026 · Updated 3 times

Summary

This study tests a medicine called ferumoxytol to treat iron deficiency anemia in children aged 2 to 17 with chronic kidney disease. It compares ferumoxytol to another iron treatment (iron sucrose) to see which is safer and works better at raising hemoglobin levels. About 129 children will take part. The goal is to improve anemia without causing serious side effects.
