Summary
This study tests a medicine called ferumoxytol, given as an IV, to treat iron deficiency anemia in children aged 2 to 17. It is for kids who cannot take iron pills or for whom pills do not work well. The main goal is to see if the treatment raises hemoglobin levels after 5 weeks and to check for side effects.
