Summary

This study tested whether fecal transplants from healthy donors could help people with ulcerative colitis, a chronic gut condition causing inflammation and discomfort. 85 adults received four treatments through a tube and enema. The goal was to see if donor stool could reduce symptoms and heal the gut lining better than a placebo.
