First seen Jun 27, 2026 · Last updated Aug 12, 2026 · Updated 2 times
Summary
This study aims to see if testing stool samples for multiple markers can accurately screen for stomach and colorectal cancers. About 5,000 adults scheduled for endoscopy will provide a stool sample before the procedure and be followed for two years. The goal is to develop a non-invasive screening tool that could catch these cancers earlier.
