First seen May 24, 2026 · Last updated May 24, 2026

Summary

This study looks at whether testing stool samples for certain markers can help find stomach and colon cancers early. About 5,000 adults scheduled for a routine scope will provide a stool sample and answer health questions. Researchers will then check how accurate the stool test is compared to the standard scope exam. Participants will be followed for two years to see how well the test works.
