Fat graft may boost penile surgery outcomes in new trial

NCT ID NCT07316491

First seen Jan 11, 2026 · Last updated May 11, 2026 · Updated 22 times

Summary

This study tests whether placing a thin layer of the patient's own fat under a skin graft on the penis improves healing, skin feel, and function after reconstructive surgery. Half of the 24 participants will receive the fat graft plus standard surgery, and half will have standard surgery alone. Researchers will track skin pliability, penile length, sexual and urinary function, and self-image for 12 months after surgery.
