Could a layer of fat improve penile surgery outcomes?

NCT ID NCT07316491

First seen Jun 27, 2026 · Last updated Jun 27, 2026

Summary

This study tests whether placing a thin layer of the patient's own fat under a skin graft on the penis leads to better healing, feel, and function. Twenty-four men scheduled for reconstructive penile surgery will be randomly assigned to receive either the standard skin graft alone or the skin graft plus a fat graft. Researchers will measure skin flexibility, penile length, and sexual and urinary function over 12 months.
