NCT ID NCT05023967
Summary
This study is testing if combining a daily fasting window with the diabetes drug metformin can slow the growth of early-stage breast cancer. It involves 120 women who will follow the regimen for a short period before their scheduled surgery. Researchers will compare tumor samples taken before and after treatment to see if the combination reduces cancer cell activity.
