Can texting about fasting help fight brain cancer?
NCT ID NCT06315296
Summary
This study tested whether a mobile app that guides patients through a time-restricted eating schedule could help protect their memory and thinking skills and improve survival after radiation treatment for brain metastases. The trial was designed for adults with breast or lung cancer that had spread to the brain. It compared the special fasting app to general healthy eating messages to see which approach worked better alongside standard radiation therapy.
