NCT ID NCT07060235
First seen Jun 26, 2026 · Last updated Jun 26, 2026
Summary
This study is developing and testing a mobile app that guides people with lumbar disc herniation through fascia exercises. Participants will be taught exercises by a physiotherapist and then use either the app, a home brochure, or standard lumbar stabilization exercises. The goal is to see if the app helps reduce pain and improve daily function better than the other methods.
What this could mean
Our plain-language read of the trial. This is informational only — not medical advice or a prediction.
- Active substance
- fascial exercise based mobile application
- What this could lead to
- If successful, this could provide a convenient, app-based home exercise option to reduce pain and disability from disc herniation.
- What could go wrong
- This is a very small, early-stage study with only 1 participant, so results may not be reliable or generalizable. The app is still being developed during the trial.
