New PET tracer could reveal hidden cancers
NCT ID NCT04459273
First seen Nov 01, 2025 · Last updated May 22, 2026 · Updated 31 times
Summary
This early-phase study tests a new imaging tracer called 68Ga-FAPI-46 in 26 people with various cancers. The tracer targets cells around tumors, helping PET scans show where cancer is located. Researchers want to see how well the tracer works and compare it to standard imaging. This is an exploratory study, not a treatment.
