Summary
This study is testing a family support program designed to help refugee families cope with stress, trauma, and mental health challenges. The program brings families together in groups led by fellow refugees to build community support and improve family relationships. Researchers will see if this approach is practical and helpful for 74 recently arrived Arabic-speaking families in Chicago.
