Summary
This study looked at how breathing through a facemask-like resistance affects exercise in people with chronic lung disease. 52 volunteers walked on a treadmill with and without extra inspiratory resistance. Researchers measured how hard they felt they were breathing and how well they performed. The goal was to understand the impact of mask resistance on exercise perception and performance.
