Summary
This study looked at how different types of anesthesia affect eye pressure and the optic nerve during kidney stone surgery. Sixty adults having the surgery were randomly assigned to receive either minimal low-flow or high-flow anesthesia. The goal was to see which method is safer for the eyes by measuring eye pressure, optic nerve thickness, and blood flow to the eye.
