First seen Nov 01, 2025 · Last updated May 05, 2026 · Updated 24 times
Summary
This study tested whether expressive writing (writing about thoughts and feelings) could reduce stress and improve work engagement in 52 Chinese nursing interns during their first clinical placement. Participants wrote for 10-15 minutes twice a week for nine weeks, with one group writing about stressful experiences and the other writing about neutral topics. The goal was to see if expressive writing helps interns cope better with the pressures of clinical training.
