First seen May 01, 2026 · Last updated May 15, 2026 · Updated 3 times
Summary
This study tested whether interval training or moderate continuous exercise could improve exercise capacity in 47 adults with congenital heart disease. Participants were randomly assigned to one of two exercise programs or usual care. The main goal was to see if exercise training increased peak oxygen uptake (a measure of fitness) after 12 weeks, while also monitoring safety and quality of life.
