Can interval training boost heart health in adults with congenital heart disease?

NCT ID NCT07546227

First seen Jun 27, 2026 · Last updated Jun 27, 2026

Summary

This study looked at whether different types of exercise training can help adults with congenital heart disease exercise more easily. 47 participants were split into three groups: interval training, moderate continuous training, or usual care (no training). The main goal was to see if exercise improved their peak oxygen intake (a measure of fitness) after 12 weeks, and to check if the training was safe.
