Summary
This study looks at how growing up with a heart condition can affect mental health, specifically post-traumatic stress disorder (PTSD). Researchers will survey 1,000 adults with congenital heart disease to find out what experiences (like painful surgeries or bullying) raise the risk of PTSD. They will also test a simple screening tool and explore whether resilience can protect against PTSD. The goal is to better identify and support those who need help.
