First seen Nov 01, 2025 · Last updated May 14, 2026 · Updated 34 times

Summary

This study tests if a simple home exercise program—walking and strength training—can prevent memory and thinking problems from getting worse in people with advanced chronic kidney disease (stages 4 and 5). About 124 participants will either exercise or receive standard care. The goal is to find an easy, drug-free way to protect brain function and improve quality of life.
