First seen Jun 27, 2026 ยท Last updated Jun 27, 2026

Summary

This study looked at whether high-intensity interval training (short bursts of hard exercise) can improve physical function and reduce fatigue in adults aged 50-80 living with HIV who are sedentary and tired. Participants were randomly assigned to either high-intensity training or moderate-intensity exercise for several months. The goal was to see which type of exercise works better for improving walking speed and energy levels.
