NCT ID NCT07658404
First seen Jun 27, 2026 · Last updated Jun 27, 2026
Summary
This study investigates whether coordination-based exercise improves memory and attention in children aged 10 to 12 more than aerobic exercise. Seventy-eight healthy children are randomly assigned to aerobic training, coordination training, or their usual school activities for 14 weeks. Researchers measure working memory and selective attention before and after the program to see which type of exercise benefits cognitive skills most.

What this could lead to
If it works, this could help schools design physical activities that boost children's cognitive development alongside fitness.
What could go wrong
