Scientists probe Exercise's hidden insulin benefits

NCT ID NCT06776094

Summary

This study aims to understand how a single session of leg exercise improves how muscles respond to insulin, which helps control blood sugar. Researchers will study 8 healthy young men by having them do one-legged exercise, then measuring blood and muscle samples over several hours. The goal is to learn the timing and biological signals behind exercise's immediate benefits for insulin sensitivity.
