First seen Jan 08, 2026 · Last updated May 18, 2026 · Updated 17 times

Summary

This study looks at how a single bout of exercise improves the way muscles respond to insulin in healthy young men. Researchers will have participants do a one-legged knee exercise and then measure insulin sensitivity using a special clamp technique. The goal is to understand the early signals in muscle cells that lead to better insulin action after exercise.
