NCT ID NCT07405385

First seen Jun 27, 2026 · Last updated Jun 27, 2026

Summary

This study tests whether a 16-week supervised exercise program can help breast cancer survivors improve their body's ability to switch between burning carbs and fats for energy. Researchers will enroll 44 women aged 18-70 who completed chemotherapy within the last 6 months and are on hormone therapy. Participants will do twice-weekly aerobic and strength training sessions, and their metabolic flexibility and fitness will be measured before, after, and at a 3-month follow-up.
