Exercise may ease arm swelling after breast cancer

Summary
This study tests whether progressive resistance exercise training can improve symptoms and daily function in people with arm lymphedema after breast cancer treatment. Fifty participants will be randomly assigned to exercise or standard care. The main outcomes are quality of life and arm disability after 28 days.
