First seen Feb 28, 2026 · Last updated May 03, 2026 · Updated 7 times

Summary

This study tests whether a home-based aerobic and resistance exercise program is feasible for adults with graft-versus-host disease (GVHD) who are starting high-dose steroids after a stem cell transplant. The goal is to see if exercise can help manage complications like high blood sugar caused by steroids. Thirty-six participants will be randomly assigned to either an exercise program or a gentle stretching routine.
