Exercise may tame steroid side effects in stem cell transplant patients
NCT ID NCT05236062
First seen Jun 27, 2026 · Last updated Jun 27, 2026
Summary
This study looks at whether a home-based aerobic and resistance exercise program is feasible for adults with graft-versus-host disease (GVHD) after a stem cell transplant. Participants will either do aerobic and resistance exercises or simple stretching. The goal is to see if exercise can help control blood sugar and reduce other complications from the steroids used to treat GVHD.
