12-Week home workout aims to strengthen seniors with diabetes and muscle loss

Summary
This study tests a 12-week home exercise program combining aerobic and resistance training for older adults (60+) with type 2 diabetes and early muscle weakness. The goal is to see if short, regular workouts can improve physical activity levels and muscle strength. About 73 participants will be randomly assigned to the exercise program or usual care.
