First seen Jan 08, 2026 · Last updated May 10, 2026 · Updated 18 times

Summary

This study looks at whether an 8-week Pilates exercise program can improve breathing in overweight and obese women. About 48 women will be split into an exercise group and a control group. Researchers will measure lung function, breathing rate, and quality of life before and after the program. The goal is to see if core exercises can help ease breathing problems linked to excess weight.
