Summary
This trial investigates whether a one-year, app-supported home exercise program can improve quality of life and reduce the time spent in atrial fibrillation (AF) compared to usual care. Participants have paroxysmal or persistent AF, are in sinus rhythm at the start, and use a smartphone. The program follows general physical activity guidelines, with a focus on moderate to vigorous exercise. All participants receive a heart monitor to track AF episodes throughout the study.
