Can exercise change a key blood marker in arthritis patients?

NCT ID NCT07327073

First seen Jun 27, 2026 · Last updated Jun 27, 2026

Summary

This study looks at how two different exercise programs—high-intensity intervals and moderate continuous activity—affect a blood marker called irisin, as well as disease activity, physical function, and quality of life in people with axial spondyloarthritis. About 75 adults with active disease who are not currently exercising will take part. The goal is to see if exercise type influences these health measures.
