Scientists probe why exercise works differently as we age
NCT ID NCT06471569
Summary
This study aims to understand how aging changes the way our bodies respond to exercise, especially for older adults with prediabetes or related heart and metabolic risks. It will enroll 26 people who previously completed an exercise study to participate in a new 6-month aerobic exercise program. Researchers will measure changes in fitness, insulin sensitivity, and overall health to learn why exercise benefits vary between individuals as they get older.
