First seen May 12, 2026 · Last updated May 15, 2026 · Updated 2 times
Summary
This study checks if a new set of thinking tasks (the ExéSem battery) can tell the difference between problems with word meaning and problems with the thinking skills needed to use that meaning. Researchers will test 140 adults aged 50-90, including people with Alzheimer's, other brain disorders, and healthy volunteers. The goal is to improve diagnosis and care for people with language difficulties.
