First seen Nov 01, 2025 · Last updated May 15, 2026 · Updated 24 times
Summary
This study tested the drug everolimus in 65 children whose low-grade gliomas (slow-growing brain tumors) had come back or gotten worse. The goal was to see if the drug could stop the tumors from growing for at least 6 months. Children took everolimus by mouth and had regular MRI scans to check their tumors. The study aimed to find a new treatment option for these children when standard therapies stop working.
