First seen Jun 08, 2026 · Last updated Jun 15, 2026 · Updated 3 times
Summary
This study compares two common injection treatments for chronic mid-back muscle pain: trigger point injections and erector spinae plane blocks. About 76 adults with persistent mid-back pain will be randomly assigned to receive one of the two treatments. Researchers will track pain levels, physical function, and emotional well-being for up to 12 weeks to see which approach offers better relief.
