Summary
This study is tracking 3,500 people who have surgery for esophageal cancer to compare how well they recover after a minimally invasive procedure versus traditional open surgery. Researchers will measure quality of life, physical function, and mental health using questionnaires over three years. The goal is to understand which approach helps patients feel better in the long run.
