Summary
This study compares how patients recover and feel after two types of surgery for esophageal cancer: minimally invasive (smaller cuts) versus open surgery. Researchers will track quality of life, pain, and daily function for up to three years in 3,500 participants. The goal is to see which approach leads to a better long-term quality of life.
