Nasal spray shows promise in rapidly reducing suicidal thoughts
NCT ID NCT07199179
Summary
This study aims to understand how a nasal spray medication called esketamine helps reduce suicidal thoughts in people with severe depression. Researchers are analyzing data from 456 patients who previously received esketamine in clinical trials. They want to see if factors like emotional pain or inability to feel pleasure can predict which patients will benefit most from this treatment.
