First seen Jun 27, 2026 ยท Last updated Jun 27, 2026
Summary
This study tests whether giving elderly patients a combination of esketamine and dexmedetomidine after hip fracture surgery can improve their sleep quality. 96 patients aged 65 and older will be randomly assigned to receive either the drug combo or a placebo (saline) for 48 hours. Researchers will track sleep, pain, and confusion levels after surgery.
