NCT ID NCT07561411

First seen May 06, 2026 · Last updated May 06, 2026

Summary

This study tests whether a specific nerve block (erector spinae block) can lower the chance of long-term pain after mastectomy compared to another block (paravertebral block). About 132 adults having a mastectomy will be randomly assigned to one of the two blocks. Researchers will check pain levels, opioid use, and complications up to 3 months after surgery.
