First seen Feb 01, 2026 · Last updated Jun 08, 2026 · Updated 15 times
Summary
This study looked for early warning signs (biomarkers) of epilepsy in children with autism, and tested whether a 3-month physical exercise program could reduce seizures and improve sleep, thinking, and movement. Fifty children aged 10-15 with autism, epilepsy, or both took part. The goal was to better understand why epilepsy develops in autism and whether exercise can help manage it.
