Summary
This study looks at how epilepsy changes certain brain areas that control breathing and waking up. Researchers will use special brain scans to compare 50 people with drug-resistant epilepsy to healthy volunteers. The goal is to understand why some epilepsy patients may stop breathing during sleep after a seizure, which could lead to sudden death.
